About Us

The Portfolio Clinic was set up by two doctors, Shiv Sharma and Saajan Basi, in 2021. Their aim was to reduce the barriers faced by doctors seeking career support. They sought to achieve this by matching junior doctors with a mentor who could provide practical, personalised and goal-orientated career guidance over a virtual platform. To date, they have linked over 200 doctors with a near-peer mentor to enable the next step in their careers. Combining this with e-learning and events, they have provided a holistic, one-stop shop for career and professional development.
